Community Warehouse is a volunteer-based nonprofit agency in Portland that provides furniture and household items to people in need, at no cost, to 65 social service agencies. The goal is to help give low-income individuals or families the basic needs to set up a home. SISTERS OF THE ROAD Sisters Of The Road exists to build authentic relationships and alleviate the hunger of isolation in an atmosphere of non-violence and gentle personalism that nurtures the whole individual toward changes that will reach the root of his or her homelessness and poverty and end it forever. METRO SOUTH STATION Accepts: Aerosol cans, antifreeze brake fluid, car batteries, florescent light bulbs, fertilizers, household cleaners, paint/thinners, pesticides, medical sharps, unwanted medicines. VEHICLE DONATIONOREGON HUMANE SOCIETY The Autos for Animals Program accepts cars, trucks, camper trailers, tractors, motorcycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, RV’s, boats, jet skis, and even planes. ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION Accepts most vehicles whether they run or not.
