Downtown Self Storage is honored to join the KGW Back to School Drive again this year. We have been serving our Portland community for over 30 years, and providing school supplies to over 15,000 local children in need is incredibly meaningful to our team.

Summertime in the City
Although it feels like summer is endless, with sunny days, adventure, and marvelous times in the warm weather, children throughout Portland are out of school enjoying all that these amazing days have to offer. It's hard to believe that September is only a month away.
Many kids in our city find going back to school stressful. It's not made any easier by economic hardship. The team at Downtown Self Storage is thrilled to be once again a part of helping make it a little easier for underserved kids by joining the KGW School Supply Drive! Each year, local businesses work together with KGW News to collect donations to ensure that every child in our area starts the school year right.
Make a Difference
Drop off new school supplies at either of our Pearl District locations: Davis Street: 1305 NW Davis Street, Pearl District, Portland, or Johnson Street: 1304 NW Johnson Street, Pearl District, Portland.

Pencils - Dry Erase Markers - Kids Scissors - Markers - Crayons - Pencil Sharpeners - Personal Hygiene Items (tissues, hand soap, hand sanitizer) - individualized Art Supplies (watercolors trays, drawing pads, etc.) - Index Cards - Lined Paper (spirals, loose leaf, composition books)
If you would prefer to donate online, with a single donation of $25, you can ensure a local student starts the year with the supplies they need. Once donations start, KGW will accept donations here: kgw.com/school.
